Continuing Education Unit Award
Duquesne University School of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the PA State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the AmericanNursesCredentialingCenter’s Commission on Accreditation. Full time attendance at the conference will award 11 contact hours. Partial credit will not be awarded for this conference.
Nurses and religious leaders will present information on the principles of
social teaching related to family, religious, social, political,
technoligical, recreational, economic and cultural factors. An emphasis
will be placed on our responsibilities toward the care of all human-kind. |

Dr.Linda Frank is the Director and Principal Investigator for the PA/MidAtlantic ETC and has been involved in conducting education of health and mental health professionals. She is the chair of the Nursing AIIDS Clinical Advisory Committee of HRSA and a member of the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force. Dr. Frank is also Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health. She teaches graduate courses including prevention and control of HIV.

Continuing Education (1.0 Contact Hours) will be awarded.
This continuing nursing education activity has approval by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on accreditation.
